We are often asked about service intervals for a recreationally used outboard:

This applies to all brands of outboard and is the most important aspect of your outboard’s life. We carry out an engine service to minimise future issues, not to take care of troubles you’ve experienced. Although past issues are sometimes taken care of with a service, most are treated as a repair. This requires a different approach and a focus on making good the fault. We’ve been known to manufacture custom parts to keep engines running for our clients.
